BAUHAUS TABLE

This minimalist and functional table is inspired by the Bauhaus aesthetic. Bang on trend with the current revival in the process of terrazzo and 1930’s modernism, it combines Art Deco’s love of simplicity of design and form. The Art Deco design combines a circular top with rectangular and triangular legs. The base is wirebrushed cast aluminium in which the terrazzo is hand cast. The combination of materials make this table light weight, and easy to place as an occasional table, unlike the general perception of furniture incorporating terrazzo technique which can be very heavy.
